I’m Suzanne Rugg, an ASID residential interior designer and founder of Suzanne Rugg Interior Design, a full-service interior design firm based in Scottsdale, Arizona. For more than 18 years, I’ve been creating warm, refined interiors that bring comfort, beauty, and a sense of ease to modern living. I work with homeowners throughout Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Desert Mountain, Arcadia, and surrounding Arizona communities to create homes that feel sophisticated, personal, and beautifully livable.
My path to interior design began with a degree in Fine Arts and Design from San Diego State University. I later expanded my education with certifications in Interior Design and architectural drafting, giving me the foundation to approach each space with both creativity and precision.
Over the years, I’ve developed a hands-on approach to everything from architectural planning to custom furnishings, construction, décor, and full-scale home renovations. My style leans toward casual elegance, which I define through clean lines, soft textures, and a sense of calm that makes a house feel like home.
